Biografia

João Campôa é mestre em Engenharia do Ambiente pela FCT NOVA desde 2018. Na sua tese de mestrado analisou o impacto climático no crescimento de Pinheiro-Bravo e Pinheiro-Manso. Atualmente é investigador no Departamento de Ciências e Engenharia do Ambiente no projeto “PineChem - Pine host chemistry and environmental factors driving the epidemiology of the pinewood nematode” colaborando ainda no projeto “CLIMPEST - Climate change and its impact on coastal pine forests in west Portugal: the case of two recently emerged pests”

 

João Campôa has a Master Degree in Environmental Engineering from the NOVA School of Science and Technology, NOVA University of Lisbon. In his master thesis he studied the climatic impact on P. pinaster and P. pinea growth. Currently, he’s a researcher in the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering on the project “PineChem - Pine host chemistry and environmental factors driving the epidemiology of the pinewood nematode”. He also collaborates on “CLIMPEST - Climate change and its impact on coastal pine forests in west Portugal: the case of two recently emerged pests”
