Katherine é estudante de Doutoramento investigando as conexões entre as políticas das mudanças climáticas, a transição energética e a pobreza energética. Além do seu projeto doutoral Katherine participa em projetos e atividades relacionadas com a pobreza energética e a transição energética à escala Europeia e em projetos e atividades à escala nacional em Portugal. Antes do início do seu doutoramento Katherine trabalhou como investigadora no CENSE entre 2018-2020. Katherine tem a Licenciatura em Gestão do Ambiente da Manchester Metropolitan University e o Mestrado em Ambiente e Políticas Públicas da Cranfield University. Durante quase três anos Katherine trabalhou num projeto local dedicado a eficiência energética ao nível domestico no Reino Unido.
Katherine is Ph.D. Student researching the links between the political agendas of climate change, energy transitions and energy poverty in Portugal. Alongside her doctoral work, Katherine participates in energy poverty and energy transition-related projects and activities at the European scale, as well as being involved with activities at the national level in Portugal. Prior to starting her Ph.D. Katherine worked as a Researcher at the Centre for Environmental and Sustainability Research (CENSE) between 2018-2020. Katherine has a BSc in Environmental Management from Manchester Metropolitan University and an MSc in Environment and Public Policy from Cranfield University. For just under three years, Katherine worked on a domestic energy efficiency programme in the UK.
