Rita is a lecturer in sustainability at the School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment (ADBE) at Nottingham Trent University. She works in the ERDF Sustainability in Enterprise (SiE) project as a course and business developer. SiE aims to enhance education on sustainability at ADBE and create opportunities for students to support Nottingham-based Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in decreasing their carbon equivalent emissions. Rita is the Principal Investigator in the research project ‘SUSChange: Organisational Change for Sustainability in Nottingham-based Small and Medium Enterprises’. She has a BSc. in Environmental Engineering Sciences and an MSc. in Environmental Engineering from NOVA School of Science and Technology. She holds a PhD in Management from the University of Bologna. Rita’s research interest is in sustainability assessment and reporting, organisational change, and stakeholder engagement, particularly in public and third sector organisations. She has participated in various research projects related to organisational change management for sustainability, environmental initiatives in public sector organisations, sustainability indicators, and co-design processes.
